Novemberupproret – Stoppa Preemraff!


(ENGLISH BELOW) Under Novemberupproret 6/11 - 7/11 kommer vi med fredligt motstånd att göra allt som står i vår makt för att visa att klimatkrisen är ett existentiellt hot mot allt levande på vår jord.

PREEM eller PARISAVTALET Världen brinner! I Kalifornien, Amazonas och Sibirien och på många andra platser härjar skogsbränder utan motstycke. Isarna smälter. Översvämningar blir allt mer omfattande. I Afrika uteblir skördar på grund av rekordtorka och gräshoppsinvasioner. Miljontals människor tvingas fly. På de allra flesta platser är klimatkrisen redan ett faktum.

Och samtidigt är Sverige påväg att expandera Skandinaviens största oljeraffinaderi. De fossila utsläppen måste till varje pris ner för att helt fasas ut 2025. Trots det finns det risk att regeringen tillåter en utbyggnad av Preems oljeraffinaderi i Lysekil. Om detta blir verklighet kan Sverige säga godnatt till Parisavtalet. Detta kan vi på inga villkor tillåta. Därför samlas vi under Novemberupproret på gatorna i Stockholm för att STOPPA PREEMRAFF.

Makthavare begår ett fullständigt oförsvarbart brott mot mänskligheten och allt levande. Sverige och den rika delen av världen måste ta ansvar för de klimatförändringar den orsakat som i synnerhet drabbar människor i det globala syd. Med en temperaturhöjning på bara några grader blir vissa delar av världen obeboelig. Och tiden rinner ut. Med allt större ihärdighet och med allt starkare emfas har forskare larmat men regeringar världen över väljer att inte agera. Vi behöver en omställning av samhället och vår ekonomi som tar hänsyn till de planetära gränserna.

Vi kräver KLIMATRÄTTVISA för all världens folk och stöttar de urfolk som kämpar för sin egen överlevnad och som står i frontlinjen för kampen om jordens överlevnad. Vi behöver göra allt som är möjligt för att trygga framtiden för alla världens barn och unga, och för kommande generationer, och vi gör det tillsammans i Stockholm den 6/11 - 7/11! Vi ger oss aldrig! Tillsammans skapar vi hopp och förändring.

PRAKTISKT: Aktionerna kommer vara utformade på ett sätt som tar hänsyn till rådande situation med Covid-19. Samling sker kl 06.30 i Rålambshovsparken fredag morgon. Under denna längre samling organiserar vi oss i aktionsgrupper mm. Information om aktionsdagarnas alla delar delges. Lördag: samling på förmiddagen i Rålambshovsparken - mobilisering inför dagens aktioner. Avslut ca 18.00

During the November Rebellion 6/11 - 7/11 we will stand up in nonviolent resistance and do everything in our power to show that the climate catastrophe is an existential threat to life on earth.

PREEM or PARIS The world is burning! Unprecedented fires are raging in California, the Amazon, Siberia and many other places. Floods are getting stronger. Crops across Africa are ravaged by drought and locust invasions. Millions of people are forced to flee. The climate crisis is now a reality in most places. And at the same time, Sweden is considering expanding Scandinavia’s biggest oil refinery. Emissions must be slashed down to zero by 2025. Yet there is a risk that the government allows Preem’s oil refinery in Lysekil to expand. If that happens, Sweden say goodbye to the Paris Agreement for good. On no conditions can we accept this.

Therefore we will take to the streets in Stockholm during the November Rebellion to STOP PREEMRAFF. The powerful are committing an indefensible crime against humanity and all life. Sweden and the rich parts of the world must face up to their responsibility for the suffering that the climate catastrophe is unleashing on people in the global south. A few degrees’ temperature rise would make parts of the world uninhabitable. And time is running out. Scientists are sounding the alarm with increasing desperation but governments around the world are choosing not to act. We must move towards a society and economy that respects the planet’s limits.

We demand CLIMATE JUSTICE for all the world’s people. We stand with the indigenous people fighting for their survival at the frontline of the global struggle for survival. We must do everything in our power to safeguard the future for all young people and future generations. And we will do it together in Stockholm on the 6/11 - 7/11! We will never give up! Together we will create hope and change💪🏼👏🏽💚

Practical Information: The actions will be organized in ways that take the current situation with Covid-19 into account.

Friday: There will be a gathering at 06.30 in Rålambshovsparken Friday morning. During this gathering we will organize action groups and information about the days actions will be provided etc. Saturday:

There will be a gathering Saturday morning in Rålambshovsparken where we will prepare for Saturdays actions. The day ends around 18.00.
