Welcome to an encounter with first-hand testimony and analysis on the current situation with awarded human rights defenders from Colombia.

What is the current status and future of the peace process? How are human rights defenders and civil society working to support the peace process? How is human rights work possible – when human rights defenders are murdered and attacked?

Dolis Estela Valencia, representant of The Governing Board of the Black/Afro-Descendant Community Council of Alto Mira and Frontera that defends the rights of the black/Afro-Colombian people in the municipality of Tumaco in the Department of Nariño.

The price is awarded by The Church of Sweden and Diakonia with the support of the Swedish Embassy in Colombia.
