ACM-W Europe WomENcourage 2015 Celebration on Women in Computing


Following the success of the inaugural womENcourage 2014 in Manchester, UK, womENcourage 2015 will be held at Uppsala University, Sweden.

ACM-WE womENcourage is a scientific event, and also an event aimed at networking and exploring career opportunities for women in computer science and related disciplines. womENcourage Celebrationbrings together students, Masters, and PhD students, as well as researchers and professionals in the field, to present and share their achievements and experience in computer science. The program includes technical presentations and also discussions related to career issues in academic and industrial research.

How can you participate?

If you are a Masters or PhD student in computer science and related disciplines, submit to the conference. See the call for papers and call for posters.

Propose a workshop or a panel. Topics may be technical subjects, career prospects, etc. The participation of male colleagues is welcome and encouraged!

Contribute as a volunteer in the review process.

womENcourage also wants to give a chance to PhD students to participate as reviewers. Each paper will be reviewed by experts in the particular area. Again, male colleagues are welcome and encouraged to participate!
