The Swedish Weapon Export


Join SAIA´s lecture on the 24th of September by Linda Åkerström on Swedish Weapon Exports. Sweden's weapon exports are debated and questioned a lot. Linda Åkerström is a Head of Disarmament at Swedish Peace and Arbitration Society and an expert in Swedish weapon exportation. During the lecture she will talk about the topics her books brings up more in-depth, such as the laws and politics surrounding the weapon exportation, as well as the behind the scenes of the weapon exportation such as scandals, consequences and cultural workers. Linda will also talk about how Sweden became the biggest largest weapon exporters per capital in the world!

This is a lecture you don’t want to miss and we hope everyone who is interested will attend. There will also be a Q&A at the end of the lecture for the very curious listeners.
