Where is the feminist perspective in Swedish arms trade?


The production, export and proliferation of weapons and ammunition contributes to people worldwide being subjected to armed violence. Weapons are distributed without control.

The spread of arms from states such as Sweden are waging war and violating human rights. The panelists represents the peace movement in Cameroon and Sweden.

The discussion will focus on arms proliferation, arms exports and the link to gender based violence. How come Sweden exports arms to non-democratic states? And how does it undermine with feminist foreign policy?
