Through song, Adri reconciles the struggle of wanting to belt out her truth while not wanting to risk her relationship with her religious mother. With the support of her best friend, she perseveres.

They are part of the Facebook support & advocacy group, Sistergirls & Brothaboys, who celebrate gender, intersex & sexuality diversity. How can we get a break from what we have heard & experienced so many times & instead listen to stories about having fun, how we can change the world, & about love? Sam Hultin has interviewed people who are in love with a trans or non-binary person. The text that is read in the film is a collage of everyone’s story & a love letter to all trans & non-binary folks.
