Social media – a tool for peace in Cameroon


Social media is a powerful tool that can be used for information and dialogue, but also to divide people. This has serious consequences, especially in conflict contexts. Platforms are used to manipulate the truth, spread violent messages and hatred. To prevent the country from falling into a cycle of violence, WILPF Cameroon has held trainings on non-violent communication as a tool to promote peace. What can we learn?
