Människohandel – Vår tids slaveri

The event is free of charge.

Human trafficking in all forms is a violation of human rights, and more persons than ever around the world become victims of sexual exploitation, forced labour and slavery. The increasing number of migrants, refugees and internally displaced persons has created a devastating human trafficking business.

The 2030 Agenda has several targets on trafficking with focus on children, women and girls. The fight against these serious crimes is of high priority for the Swedish government. But more needs to be done to combat trafficking and development cooperation can have a key role in this.

Welcome to a Development Talks that wants to raise awareness about the need for cooperation to prevent and combat human trafficking, and what can be done to assist victims and end impunity for human traffickers.
