Mourn the dead and fight the hell for the living.

Everyday, at least one trans-person is murdered somewhere in the world. According to the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (BRÅ), only 1% of all the reported hate crimes in 2015 are of transphobic nature. Violence against the trans and non-binary gender community is underreported and trans* people of color face racist and transphobic violence on a daily basis. SQI Syd would like to invite members of the trans, non-binary gender and queer community as well as allies to commemorate International Transgender Day of Remembrance in memory of the lives who have been lost to anti-trans violence.

The event place is wheelchair accessible. The event is as well organized in collaboration with ABF Malmö.
