Divest Nobel / Fossil Free Sweden: Nobel Day Action


Did you know the Nobel prize-money comes from investments in fossil fuels? Yet written in Alfred Nobels will it says the prize should be "for the greatest benefit to mankind". This makes no sense.

We believe the Nobel Foundation should use their great influence to really make a change. That is why we want them to divest from fossil fuels.

Join us in a fun action on the Nobel Day to help make this happen. There will be fun costumes, ginger bread and a possibility to join disquised as Alfred himself (dresscode: fancy suit / dress with warm underwear).

Schedule:

We will meet at 15.00 at Sergels Torg, at the metro-entrance.

The Nobel Prize Award Ceremony starts at the Stockholm Concert Hall, 16.30

Nobel Banquet at the Stockholm City Hall starts at 19.00

Visste du att prispengarna till Nobelpriset delvis kommer från fossila investeringar? Detta trots att det står i Alfred Nobels testamente att priset ska göra mänskligheten den största nytta. Detta går inte ihop!

Vi anser att Nobelstiftelsen ska använda sitt goda anseende till att skapa en förändring. Därför uppmanar vi - och femton Nobelpristagare - Nobelstiftelsen att divestera ur fossila bränslen (det vill säga ta bort sina investeringar).

Häng med på en kul aktion under Nobeldagen för att få detta att hända. Det kommer bli roliga kostymer, pepparkakor och en möjlighet att klä ut sig till själve Alfred (klädsel: festligt men varma underställ).
