The co-editor of the 2014 book of interviews, "Until the Rulers Obey: Voices from Latin American Social Movements," Clifton Ross will be on hand to talk about the social movements of Latin and Anglo America, the common, as well as the unique, problems they face going forward.

Clifton Ross is a filmmaker, writer, editor and translator from Berkeley, California. His 2009 book of poetry, "Translations from Silence," won an Oakland PEN award and he’s been writing about Latin American social and revolutionary movements over thirty years.

Kafé 44 will be open with coffee and vegan food from 3pm-7pm.
